Christmas and the holiday season is approaching fast! That means it’s time to shop for gifts for your friends, family, co-workers, and well….just about everyone. Do you get tired of buying the same presents each year? Always having trouble finding that perfect gift for a tough gift receiver? Well this year it’s time to get unique without breaking the bank! Each year I try to find a gift for my dad that I haven’t already purchased and it gets frustrating trying to find something new and exciting. Last Christmas season, I went to Uncommon Goods to find gifts under $50 and found quite a few great gifts for my dad. He loves making homemade pizza so I bought the bicycle pizza cutter and he thought it was the coolest thing in the world. Talk about a win!
Christmas shopping also means buying gifts for the office and my co-workers and we all know how expensive that can get. Buying gifts for 5+ people can really add up and make it difficult when it comes to shopping within a tight budget. Luckily Uncommon Goods also has a great section for gifts under $25 where I found the perfect selection to make my co-workers happy. The last Christmas party was a big hit and so were my gifts. Now I can admire the cute gifts I bought for them, as I walk past their desks. You can find gifts under $25 here.
Each year, I find myself stuffing stockings full of candy and gifts that easily break. That gets extremely frustrating and not to mention it makes the kids extremely hyper from all of the sugar. NO WAY! This year I plan on replacing candy with cute gifts or fun toys such as magnetic putty. The kids LOVE these kind of toys and they do not cost a fortune. Overall, I would highly recommend shopping at Uncommon Goods this holiday season because they are affordable, located in New York, and most of their products are handmade from recycled materials. It always feels good to buy green items that use recycled materials. Oh and did I mention that part of your purchase gets donated to non profit charitable organizations? It’s a win win! The Christmas season is the time of giving and giving back to the world is a plus! Happy Holidays everyone!
